Yesterday, the 23/1 theory went well. I ate only a Quest bar for lunch, then fruit for a snack, in addition to my coffee. Probably around 300 calories during the day. Felt decent. Light. I ate a salad and string cheese for dinner until I was full.

Today didn't go as well. Coffee, about 200 calories at lunch, two cookies at about 200 calories each, then sushi dinner around another 200. So 800 already, then now we're ordering pizza and I know I'll have to eat some of it.

I know that's not technically a lot of calories. But it is compared to the amount of food I've actually consumed. I barely felt like I ate, and I was already well past my resting metabolic rate.

Tomorrow I'll do better.
